I had the idea for the accordion coffee table a few years
ago and last summer finally got round to making it. It’s constructed from
Scottish Elm.
A diatonic reed block was used and I was limited to two
chords (one out and one in). After much thought decided to go for Amen. The
only other options I could think of were the Jaws and Psycho theme tunes which
I didn’t fancy too much.
The reeds were tuned by Mr Robert Rolston of Manfrini
accordions & the table was displayed at the opening of the new Manfrini
showroom where it was played by Phil Cunningham and various other accordion
legends.

. Each table is hand crafted and takes up to eight weeks from confirmation of
order.
